Bellishøj, Rødovere
Exclusive multi-storey apartment blocks.
JCN Bolig shall build 87 exclusive apartments in Rødovre in a multi-storey building with up to six storeys, with a total area of 8,424 m2. The contract is signed with Thomas Bloch from AEP.
Four different bricks shall be used in the project, which are repeated in the stairwell in the recessed fields between the changes in levels in the residential apartment blocks. Extra furnishing and fittings and balconies are offered and the project when finished will be of a very high quality. The architect is Bay Arch and the engineer is Ingeniørgruppen Vestjylland.
The site was the location of an old gearwheel factory and the developer was responsible for its demolition. Some of the old concrete will be recycled as the foundation for the construction of the project’s roads. In general, the developer has worked very close with us throughout the process right up to the signing of the contract and we have had a very constructive dialogue. This has resulted in the realisation of the developer's wish for more exclusive balconies than those that the architect had proposed and we had priced, among other things, because the entire building with penthouse apartments and roof terraces should go up another level in quality.
When the project started it was actually another and cheaper contractor involved in Bellishøj, but the developer was unsure and the architect proposed that they contact JCN Bolig.
In addition to the apartments, an approx. 2,500 m2 underground car park and a 1,000 m2 heated storage space and 364 m2 of commercial space will be built.
