Risskov Brynet consists of three uniform residential blocks, each consisting of four 2-storey terrace houses and 9 apartments around a communal stairwell. A total of 48 homes.
The entire development is clad in brick, with a simple and modern look. Facing Vindrosen, the base is made from brick-on-edge coping, so the scale is broken down. This together with the interior spaces in the brickwork into the basement carpark helps to make the bottom part of the façade appear attractive and welcoming.
The development uses pitched roofs which is partially executed with green sedum roof on both the terrace houses and the stairwell apartments. This helps to give the whole development identity and character, and a more exclusive look.
The top part of the façade of the stairwell apartments and terrace houses’ facing east are clad in light panel cladding with a standing seam that is made from dark brown zinc. Thus the scale is broken down facing Vindrosen and the roof shape is emphasised.
