Multi-storey apartment blocks
The project comprised 85 apartments (social housing stock) and a communal buil-ding, in total 8,400 m2.
The apartments were built in different sizes, from 2 to 5-room apartments and were designed to cater for families of all sizes. A modern communal building was also built, which functions as a large communal centre and as a meeting point, kitchen and gym.
The entire development is made from brick with wooden areas and paths, ditches, green areas, playgrounds and a multi-court have been built between the apartments, which ensure the development is well-connected with the surrounding countryside over towards the new Town Hall on Skanderborg Fælled. Stillingvej and Virringvej are on the other side of a 3-storey building and behind this there are three terrace houses or 2 and 3-storey wings.
The project was executed in the period May 2017 – August 2018.
