Bastionen, Building Plot C, is one of the final four development plots at Bryggens Bastion, which together cover approximately 52,000 m². It is centrally located in the heart of Copenhagen, on Amager—just 2.2 kilometers from City Hall Square. The development area is bordered by Ørestads Boulevard, Amagerfælledvej, and Njalsgade. The project consists of a closed courtyard block of up to 8 stories, encompassing approximately 11,000 m² of residential space and 4,000 m² of basement.
In 2022, Domis acquired the site containing the last four building plots from a previous developer. From the outset, Domis has collaborated with JCN Bolig on the upcoming construction. Significant time and resources have been invested in calculating and planning the project to ensure the creation of a high-quality development that meets market demand and Domis’ strict sustainability standards. After a long and constructive process, the pieces came together, and with strong support from a skilled advisory team, a project was developed that we are truly proud of.
The project will be built to a high standard, with strong aesthetic qualities that contribute to an exciting, cohesive development—while still maintaining its own unique identity and materiality. Outdoor spaces are coordinated across the entire development to ensure a unified identity for all the buildings in the area. Bryggens Bastion places great emphasis on sustainability and will be certified with DGNB Gold.
