The design and build contract covers the entire "Kulturtorvet" project in Allerød, which consists of the development of three buildings: the Theatre House, Cinema Apartments, and Library Houses. The project has a very high sustainability profile, and we expect to emit a maximum of 8 kg of CO2. The project will comply with the requirements for DGNB Gold certification.
The Theatre House consists of a 6,487 m² courtyard building over 4 floors, with the top floor set back to create a series of attractive rooftop terraces. The area includes approximately 800 m² of public spaces and 60 apartments. Additionally, there is about 2,685 m² of unheated parking basement, etc.
The Cinema Apartments is a 1,977 m² building, spread over four floors, with 27 apartments. The building is notably characterized by a prominent shed roof.
The Library Houses is a 1,625 m² building with 3 floors, including 6 apartments on the ground floor and 9 townhouses on the first and second floors, as well as a 200 m² café (Grey Box). The total area of the Library Houses is 1,425 m². The Library Houses also feature a shed roof.
In total, Kulturtorvet covers 10,090 m² with 102 apartments and a 2,685 m² basement, along with associated paved and unpaved outdoor areas.
