156 student apartments
The project comprised the building of 156 student apartments, a total of 5,980 m2 and 1,121 m2 for commercial premises in the ground floor.
Torvehuset is the first building in the second stage of the Åbyen project, transforming the former road haulage centre into a large new residential area.
The building is made from concrete elements, the external façade clad in anodized aluminium panels.The building has terrace-style staggered levels of 4, 5 and 6 storeys. The lowest roof terrace area includes a multi-court for residents.
The finished project has been re-sold to Koncenton, which developed a QA project on the property.
