30 student apartments
A relatively modest student housing project consisting of 30 apartments, centrally located next to Skanderborg Station.
The project was put out to tender as a Main Contract twice. With both tenders the project proved to be too expensive in relation to the framework agreement.
Hereafter, JCN Bolig made the project together with P+P Arkitekter and Viggo Madsen, where the contracted task was to create 30 student apartments, a total of 1,200 m2 for DKK 15,355,000.
The building is constructed as a 3-storey block with balcony access with a centrally located stairwell with an elevator. The load-bearing apartment shell is made from concrete elements and inner walls in the façade are made from cellular concrete. The building has brick facing and a flat roof with asphalt roofing. There are 24 single apartments and 6 double apartments.
